KARMA AND REINCARNATION

The belief in Reincarnation is accepted as a fact by almost every religion and race in the world. In the 4th century AD the Bishop of Jerusalem who was responsible for the Nicene Creed, had removed from the teachings of the bible, references to reincarnation. This was known as the ‘Act of Nicea’. It was for the empowerment of the priests rather than for belief. Christianity is one of the few religions who, whilst accepting a re-birth in the afterlife, still do not subscribe to being born again in the physical. Yet Christ himself referred to this:-

Philippi: and by the way he asked his disciples, saying unto them, Whom do men say

and saith unto him, Thou art the Christ.

Mark|8:31 And he began to teach them, that the Son of man must suffer many things, and be rejected of the elders, and of the chief priests, and scribes, and be killed, and after three days rise again.

‘Whom do men say that I am? Here HE was stating as clearly as HE could, his knowledge and belief in his own previous lifetimes. HE also was fully aware of his own Karma which had been chosen to evolve mankind.

It is important that we understand it is not who we are in this brief lifetime, but what we think and do. People ask if reincarnation is a fact, why can’t they remember their past lives so that they can put right what they did wrong? For most individuals, that burden of knowledge would be unbearable. Remember that we are now the sum total of not just one life, but all our lives. Just as our Akashic Records details all of our actions and thoughts, both good and bad, our own soul remembers every experience from the beginning of our time.

We all need to reflect on the reason why we are here. What is the main objective of life on the physical plane? Unfortunately most people go right through their lives and rarely consider this fundamental issue. We lay the blame for our life problems at the hands of a cruel fate, or our parents, friends, siblings’ etc. We look outside instead of inside ourselves for answers and guidance. If we could all accept the premise that no one should be blamed for our misfortunes other than ourselves, then bitterness and anger would eventually disappear globally. Who would wish to rob another, kill or rape, or go to war if being convinced of karma he knows that he will have to repay? If not in this life, but another?

There are times that we see a large group of people, often a family group who, because they are famous, play out their karma on a world stage. Whilst I do not wish to name a specific family group, (each of us can recognise these famous groups), we, as individuals are fascinated, horrified, saddened at the inconceivable toll of personal tragedies that these famous family groups will have to endure.

Usually we see the sudden death/or disease of many of the children of that family group, whilst they are at the peak of their power and/or youth and ask why? Why has this particular family had to suffer such agony played out in front of the world’s media? Yet this type of group karma has always been so. The only difference is that today, because of our advanced technology and communications, most of us are aware of what is going on in another country. We know through the media when it is 'pay back' time of a group karmic debt. This can go back many hundreds of years. Sadly, some individuals intermarrying with such a group and become part of that karma. They personally may be innocent victims, unrelated to past events. How they have dealt with this will evolve them. Unfortunately, it is an undoubted fact that where such a group finds itself once more in a seat of empowerment, with wealth and all the privileges that come with this, they may continue to incur bad karmic by mis-using those privileges. *

At the opposite end of the scale, Higher Souls who hold much responsibility for other groups in spirit may take years preparing, not just for their own re-birth, but in the training of other souls to take over their responsibilities. There is a definite plan in spirit, just as there is on the earth plane. Some of these highly evolved souls have, throughout history, prophesied certain events, including their own re-birth. However, because of the Law of Cause and Effect, and where there is a need for an evolved soul to remain in spirit, these events can also be postponed to a more appropriate time for the good of the whole. Just as in other groups, many highly evolved souls who work for the good of mankind, tend to come within a group of souls born within a short time of each other, often choosing the same location on earth in order to put their life plan into action.

There is also the phenomena of a National Karmic debt. No country is innocent of taking up arms against another at some time in its history. It has been stated by those who hold high office as lamas and leaders, for the country we now know of as Tibet, that the loss of their country to the Chinese is a karmic debt. In hundreds of years karmic debts of countries that war not only against other countries, but also against their own peoples for the sake of personal empowerment has escalated. One only has to think of the present on-going wars in the name of power or religion, to understand the terrible price which there will be to pay by those leaders at some time in the future. Not necessarily in this lifetime, but another.

How can we, who believe we are at the most civilised time in history, still perpetrate such evil? It is not sufficient to glibly state that nothing changes, history repeats itself. It does, and will do so, until each person takes responsibility for himself and his place in the society and family into which he or she is born. Until we change on an individual basis we cannot hope for change in the world.

Although we are living today in a world that is more negative vibrationally, than at any time during the past century, we have amongst us some of the most advanced souls for hundreds of years. This is something for us all to take comfort from. Whilst there have always been highly evolved souls reincarnating for the good of mankind throughout any given time in history; since the beginning of the early 1960’s more enlightened souls have been returning to the physical.

This was the era referred to as the hippies and flower power of the ‘New Age’. Those who were in the ‘flower power’ groups are now in their 50’s and have, by and large, become more responsible. Many developed their earlier interest in the esoteric by becoming healers, geomancers, dowsers, teachers. They originally came from different strata’s of society, affluent and poor, different age groups, but had one thing in common; they were all seeking knowledge and enlightenment, a link to their Creator. It is unfortunate that many also took used drugs or alcohol to give themselves ‘a high’ and in doing so destroyed the very link, which they sought. This problem has escalated; many young souls born in the past two decades do not know what they seek. I fear we are facing a ‘lost generation’, yet many of these are evolved souls.

Many individuals who were with the soul known as Jesus Christ are already living amongst us, or are due to be born within the next few years. Mankind should form a conclusion from this. Our earth is going to go through some very testing years, many are Karmic in origin. We are going to need all the evolved souls who are already here, or preparing for their re-birth at this very moment. In summation we are all here for one reason only- LOVE. We are here not just to evolve ourselves, but each other. Only through loving others, putting their needs before our own selfish needs can we evolve ourselves.

Some self-styled gurus/masters advertise their ability to rid a soul of its karma. I have actually seen these weekend courses advertised by an American ‘Guru’ in my own home town at a cost of some 300 dollars for a weekend session. Many gullible people believe such nonsense. It is sad to see the gullible and foolish shell out money, but for those who advertise their own so-called evolvement, (which is nothing short of a big scam); it is a personal tragedy. They themselves are building up terrible karma. Karma can only be discharged by living, not for a weekend, but through many, many lives.
